The PNA Advertising Conference focuses on the unique needs of both display and classified advertising directors, managers and sales reps. Participants attend information-packed sessions concerning new lead generation, native advertising, success in driving new business and strong leadership. Programming also includes separate session tracks for managers and sales reps.

Selling in the Real World

In this half-day workshop, Mike Centorani discussed how to make the right sale with a client. He focused on modifying the approaches sales representatives currently take and how managers can coach them through the new approaches.

Using Data to Sell Advertising

The three-person panel in this breakout session presented new ways to use data for more advertising. Members of the panel also used case studies to emphasize and back up their points.

Selling Techniques for Digital Products and Emerging Trends

This breakout session focused on the fundamentals of advertising and sales, along with newer techniques to generate more revenue from ads. This presentation answered questions such as, "What should I ask a client in the digital world?" 

Coaching in the Real World

The first general session featured tips on how to effectively manage and coach sales representatives. It focused on how to attract the best candidates and encouraged managers to emphasize the process of sales, not the results.

#Make More Money With Digital

Designed for sales representatives overwhelmed with print and digital products, this breakout session discussed how to have  print and digital products complement each other. It focused on providing campaigns with total market coverage and the art of bundling.

Driving New SMB Revenue

The second general session focused on using SMB business to generate new revenue. The session featured success stories from Civitas publications' use of SMB marketing. It also included information on program packaging, target advertiser acquisition and sales  m
