Since 1959, the PNA Foundation's Newspaper Carrier of the Year contest has helped Pennsylvania newspapers recognize the exemplary performance of newspaper carriers of all ages.
Each year the proceeds from the PNA Foundation Carrier Golf Outing help support this contest, the awards luncheon and awards presented to the winners. Be supportive of your newspaper carriers and this recognition contest by golfing or becoming a sponsor at this year's Carrier Golf Outing on Thursday, May 9, 2013, at the Penn National Golf Club & Inn, Fayetteville, Pa.
Entries for the 2013 Newspaper Carrier of the Year contest are now being accepted! Deadline to submit entries has been extended to Friday, May 3, 2013!
All nominees will be invited to the "Luncheon of Champions" on Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at the Hershey Country Club, where carriers are recognized and the winners announced. This awards luncheon is held in conjunction with the PNA Foundation Golf Outing.
Each finalist will receive two complimentary tickets to Hersheypark. First, second and third place winners will each receive an award certificate, a cash award and be entered into the I-SCMA Newspaper Carrier of the Year contest. All fourth and fifth place winners will receive award certificates in addition to the complimentary Hersheypark tickets.
