The Student Keystone Press Awards contest recognizes high school and college journalism that provides relevance, integrity and initiative in serving readers. Any student at any public, private or parochial Pennsylvania high school, college or university who has had his or her material published in the school newspaper may enter the contest.
Entries for the 2014 Student Keystone Press Awards contest are now being accepted! All entries must be submitted online via the quick and easy online contest system, BetterBNC. Complete contest rules, entry instructions and category descriptions are outlined below.
Deadline to submit entries and online payments is 11:59 p.m. on Monday, January 13, 2014. Mail-in and call-in payments are due at the PNA Foundation by Wednesday, January 15, 2014.
Winners will be announced in late February, and will be honored at the Student Keystone Press Awards Luncheon during the America East Technology and Operations Conference on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center. Plaques will be provided to all first place winners in attendance at the awards luncheon. As outlined in the contest rules, award certificates are mailed to winners not in attendance with the option to purchase plaque(s). To order your plaque(s), complete and return the 2014 Student Plaque Order Form.
