The Student Keystone Press Awards contest recognizes high school and college journalism that provides relevance, integrity and initiative in serving readers. Any student at any public, private or parochial Pennsylvania high school, college or university who has had his or her material published in the school newspaper may enter the contest.
All entries must have been submitted online via the quick and easy online contest system, BetterBNC, by Monday, January 20, 2014. Complete contest rules, entry instructions and category descriptions are outlined below. The 2014 entries are currently being judged.
Winners will be announced in late February, and will be honored at the Student Keystone Press Awards Luncheon during the America East Technology and Operations Conference on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center. To register for the awards luncheon, complete this registration form and return to the PNA Foundation by March 21.
Plaques will be provided to all first place winners in attendance at the awards luncheon. As outlined in the contest rules, award certificates are mailed to winners not in attendance with the option to purchase plaque(s). To order your plaque(s), complete and return the 2014 Student Plaque Order Form.
