The Keystone Press Awards reinforce excellence by individuals in the news media profession, by recognizing journalism that consistently provides relevance, integrity and initiative in serving readers, and faithfully fulfills its First Amendment rights/responsibilities. Further, the Keystone Press Awards stimulate journalists to improve their craft and ultimately improve their community.

Note: Circulation divisions for this contest have been updated. When entering the contest, please be sure your news organization is shown in the correct division.
All entries and online payments must have been submitted online via the quick and easy online contest system, BetterBNC, by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, January 30, 2017. Mail-in or call-in payments must have been received at the PNA Foundation by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2017.
Winners will be announced by early April and honored at the Keystone Press Awards Banquet during the Pennsylvania Press Conference on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square.
Plaques will be provided to all award recipients in attendance at the May 20 banquet. Following the banquet, certificates will be mailed to winners not in attendance, at no cost. However, if you are unable to attend the banquet, you may purchase plaques by downloading and completing the Plaque Order Form. In order to pick up plaques for absentee winners, arrangements must be made in advance by downloading and completing the Plaque Pick Up Form by May 12
