The Keystone Press Awards reinforce excellence by individuals in the news media profession, by recognizing journalism that consistently provides relevance, integrity and initiative in serving readers, and faithfully fulfills its First Amendment rights/responsibilities. Further, the Keystone Press Awards stimulate journalists to improve their craft and ultimately improve their community.

Winners will be honored at the Keystone Press Awards Banquet during the Pennsylvania Press Conference on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at the Hilton Harrisburg. To register for the Keystone Press Awards Banquet, complete and return the registration form found the Pennsylvania Press Conference webpage. Registration deadline is May 13.
Plaques will be provided to all award recipients in attendance at the May 21 banquet. Following the banquet, certificates will be mailed to winners not in attendance, at no cost. However, if you are unable to attend the banquet, you may purchase plaques by downloading and completing the Plaque Order Form. In order to pick up plaques for absentee winners, arrangements must be made in advance by downloading and completing the Plaque Pick Up Form by May 13.

2016 Professional Specialty Awards (including Distinguished Writing Awards, Distinguished Visual Awards, the John V.R. Bull Freedom of Information Award, the Edith Hughes Emerging Journalist Award, and the Calkins Media Distinguished Video Award)
All entries and online payments must have been submitted online via the quick and easy online contest system, BetterBNC, by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2016. Mail-in or call-in payments must be received at the PNA Foundation by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2016.
