Learn to better use video, audio and photography at the 6th Keystone Multimedia Workshop scheduled for Thursday, May 30 through Saturday, June 1, 2013, in Gettysburg to cover the 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg!
Sponsored by Penn State's College of Communications and the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association (PNA) Foundation, this workshop provides intense, hands-on training in audio, video and photojournalism in one of the country’s most historic settings. With the guidance of experienced coaches, participants craft an in-depth story using audio, still photography and video. During this three-day workshop, participants are encouraged to work on the multimedia story of their choice or a story that their website can publish about the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg.
Who should attend? Journalists at the beginning and intermediate level; journalists seeking hands-on training in all forms of multimedia; journalists working for publications building their Web presence; journalists who want to learn how to produce the best multimedia for the least cost; and educators who teach multimedia skills! It is not necessary to have any experience with digital audio, photography or video to successfully participate.
Registration for this three-day workshop is only $195 for PNA members; $95 for Pennsylvania college students; and $295 for non-members and out-of-state participants (meals not included). To register for the workshop, contact Teresa Shaak at the PNA Foundation at firstname.lastname@example.org or (717) 703-3003. Registration is limited, so register early!
