Never used Microsoft PowerPoint and want to learn the basics? Know the fundamentals, but want to expand your skills and produce more effective presentations? This workshop is for you!
Learn how to organize and communicate your ideas in a professionally delivered Microsoft PowerPoint presentation. This hands-on training will teach you how to create effective presentations of all styles including handouts, slide shows, etc. For beginners, the basics of setting up a presentation will be explained. Session also includes helpful tips on focusing attention, working with fonts and objects, modifying charts, incorporating graphics and adding special effects. For advertising sales reps and graphic artists, this is an opportunity to enhance your advertiser presentations.
Scheduled for 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Drive in and out in one day. Cost: $49 per person for PNA members. $89 for non members. You must bring your own laptop to the workshop for hands-on training.

With more than 25 years of corporate IT experience and technical instruction, Sargent Software, LLC, provides professional computer training and software consulting services. Jeanina Sargent has a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Elizabethtown College and a B.S. degree in Management Information Systems from York College of Pennsylvania. She began her career as a programmer/analyst for Litton Guidance and Controls in southern California. After spending 12 years in the aerospace and banking Industry, Jeanina returned to York, Pa., as a database specialist for a local non-profit organization. Along the way, Jeanina discovered that she has a passion for teaching.
