15 expense-paid fellowships* are available to qualified journalists.
For the past twelve years, we have been educating early-career journalists on covering local and state governments in Pennsylvania. The John L.S. and William B. Northrop Boot Camp is a two-day, intensive training program that brings together journalists from across the state to focus on important topics such as legal issues at the local, county and state level; open meetings; understanding township and borough funding; school board functions; and tips for investigative researching.
Scheduled for Thursday, April 24, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at PNA Headquarters, Harrisburg, Pa.
We are now accepting applications for the 2014 Northrop Boot Camp!
