John C. Gallo has assumed the position of chief operating officer of Review Publishing and so overall responsibility for day-to-day operations.
John joined the South Philly Review in 1985 as a display sales representative. He has worked his way up to increasing levels of responsibility, primarily in advertising. He became the General Manager of the South Philly Review in 1995 and was promoted to Publisher in 1996. He launched the Southwest Philly Review in 1997. He also launched several other publications and special sections, as well as an annual community guide for South Philadelphia.
He was promoted to Vice President of Operations for Review Publishing in 2005 and assumed responsibility for coordinating operations activities that cross the boundaries of RP’s individual publications. He focused much attention lately on overseeing and supporting the efforts of both the South Philly Review and Atlantic City Weekly.
Mr. Gallo is a graduate of Spring Garden College with a bachelors of science degree in business management. He, Joanne, and their two children live in Washington Township, New Jersey.
