2017 Newspaper of the Year award winners announced

The PNA Foundation is pleased to announce the winners of the 2017 Newspaper of the Year Awards. Awards will be presented Nov. 3, in conjunction with the PNA Annual Convention in Philadelphia. The Newspaper of the Year contest recognizes overall excellence in Pennsylvania newspapers and showcases the efforts of entire staffs across ten categories. The overall winners of Newspaper of the Year for multi-day publications are the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, first place, and the York Daily Record/Sunday News receiving second place. For weekly newspapers, first place is awarded to the Philadelphia Gay News while the Press And Journal (Middletown) is recognized with second place.
