Shippensburg University's The Slate rebrands to revitalize readership

  • Oct 09, 2017

A new school year means new changes for Shippensburg University's student-run newspaper, The Slate. This year, the paper has begun the process of rebranding in hopes the change will increase readership and involvement across the campus community. The
publication's new slogan, "Reporting truth. Serving our community." expresses the paper's dedication to students and the community. The Slate released its first broadsheet newspaper in seven years. What used to be 24 printed pages is now 12, and a full photograph front page has been replaced with a standout header and news section. Read The Slate online.
