PNA Content Sharing Program Launches Feb. 18th

  • Feb 06, 2019

The Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association is introducing a new content sharing program for our members.  The program will allow for and encourage members to share specific content built around themes that can be used to build special sections or a series of stories within participating publications.

The first two topics, were selected based on member input, are "The Great Outdoors" and "Local Travel Destinations".

PNA Content Sharing Program Great Outdoors and Local Destinations

The Great Outdoors

Articles written for this topic will cover outdoor activities (hiking, fishing, hunting, skiing, etc.) that are available within our members' communities across the Keystone state.

Local Travel Destinations

Articles written for this topic will cover interesting and intriguing local travel destinations (unique dining experiences, tourist destinations, roadside attractions, museums, etc.) in and around the hometowns served by the participating newspapers.

Each participating member publication will be asked to write an article about each of the two selected topics.  Submitted articles should utilize the following guidelines:

  • Minimum length of 600 words
  • Include at least two print-quality photos
  • Written by local staff
  • Include up-to-date information

Participating papers are encouraged to include the following elements, but neither is required:

  • An "info box" that includes hours, directions, URL and other useful resources related to the article
  • Web quality video that is related to the story

We ask that articles retain their original byline when published.

We currently have over 35 publications participating in the program but would like to increase that number to over 50.  To participate in this no cost program or for more information, contact Matt Caylor by email or phone (717-703-3040).
