The Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association (PNA) is pleased to announce the addition of Philadelphia Media Network Publisher Terry Egger as the 2015 90th Anniversary Annual Convention keynote speaker. Egger will speak about his vision for the Philadelphia media properties and his thoughts on the future of the news media industry.
Egger begins as publisher at the Philadelphia Media Network Oct. 1. He has previously served as president and publisher at the Cleveland Plain Dealer and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Egger’s more than 30 years in the media business goes back to a bi-weekly newspaper in southern California, and over the course of his career, he has held the positions of advertising director, vice president of advertising, president, publisher and CEO.
Egger founded and is the principal of CZ Advisors, a Cleveland-based consultancy, that led the Cleveland Host Committee's winning effort to secure the 2016 Republican National Convention. He also served on the Board of Directors for Medical Mutual of Ohio, the Board of Trustees for the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, the Board of the Cleveland Orchestra, Cleveland Museum of Act, and as Co-Chair of Opportunity Corridor in Cleveland. He is also a Life Director of the Board for United Way of Greater Cleveland and served as Chairman of United Way’s Board from 2010-2012.

The PNA, founded in 1925, is the nonprofit trade association for print and digital media in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
