Mark Cohen named new PNA President

HARRISBURG, Pa., September 7, 2017 – The Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association (PNA) is pleased to introduce Mark Cohen as its next President.  

Cohen’s start date will be September 25th and he will oversee operations of the PNA Foundation, PNA, and its advertising arm, MANSI Media. Cohen is “very excited to join this team and contribute to an already top flight organization. I can't wait to get started and be a part of moving it forward.” A Cincinnati native, Cohen started his career as a sales executive at the Cincinnati Enquirer. He has also worked for Thompson Newspapers, GateHouse Newspapers and the Pioneer Newspaper Group.

Under Cohen’s leadership as Publisher of the Akron Beacon Journal, the publication was voted 2017 Newspaper of the Year. While in Akron, Cohen served on the boards of the Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce, the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, the Akron Roundtable, the United Way of Summit County and the Downtown Akron Partnership.
