Andrea Korman, Pennsylvania Game Commission

Andrea Korman joined the Pennsylvania Game Commission as the Chronic Wasting Disease Biologist in December of 2019.  A native of southwestern Pennsylvania, Andrea attended Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Environmental Science. She also holds a master’s degree in Zoology from Oklahoma State University.  Prior to joining the Game Commission, she held a number of other positions, monitoring and managing species from mottled ducks, alligators goshawks to Mexican spotted owls, bighorn sheep and vernal pool crustaceans, California tiger salamanders, and giant garter snakes.
