Pittsburgh City Paper is seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator. This role requires an individual with a digital advertising and strategic marketing background who has experience and knowledge in campaign management, social media management, and analytics/reporting.

This role will work with the Advertising Department on client campaigns, managing set-up, optimization, and reporting as well as the Editorial Department, managing the City Paper’s social platforms and providing analytics to support growth across all digital platforms including the website.

The ideal candidate has strong organization, communication, and time management skills, is well versed in campaign management, is social media savvy, and wants to have an impact on the growth of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage current and incoming digital campaigns from the sales team across Google AdManager, social media platforms, and programmatic advertising platforms
  • Set up and manage processes and procedures for submission of new campaigns
  • Oversee all fulfillment of advertising and internal marketing campaigns with regular optimization throughout the campaign
  • Prepare and manage all digital agency sales collateral
  • Oversee Pittsburgh City Paper’s weekly e-newsletters
  • Analyze trends and identify opportunities for engagement across all social media platforms
  • Actively collaborate with management to create dynamic marketing plans and goals for Pittsburgh City Paper’s audience growth
  • Monitor, analyze, and generate feedback and direction to retain and grow digital solutions within and for Pittsburgh City Paper

Requirements:

  • Two+ years of campaign management experience (preferred)
  • Two+ years of social media management experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of programmatic advertising including but not limited to targeted display, SEM, SEO, native advertising, video, and social media platforms
  • Experience with ad serving software
  • Previous digital/social media support experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Social copywriting and editing skills
  • Experience with Hootsuite or other marketing automation tools
  • Photoshop experience a plus
  • Ability to multitask, manage multiple assignments, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team-oriented environment
