From practical do’s and don’ts to specifics on trolls, this session is just what you need to protect your company from expensive lawsuits.
Join us for a one-hour webinar discussing one of the most notorious newspaper scourges of 2020. PNA Associate Members Charlie Kelly and John Marty of Saul Ewing Arnstein and Lehr will discuss the attacks of the copyright trolls. Charlie and John have been involved in nearly a dozen copyright troll cases in 2020 involving the infamous plaintiff, Adlife Marketing and Communications, Inc., and will discuss how to spot a troll and how to respond to a troll copyright demand letter or lawsuit.
In addition, the session will include practical steps newspapers — and their advertising departments, in particular — can take lawfully to obtain copyright licenses and protect themselves against the common Industry missteps upon which copyright plaintiffs prey.
This one-hour webinar is scheduled to begin promptly at 2 p.m.
