PNA Virtual Publisher Round Table August 11 2020

“’Tis not in numbers but in unity that our great strength lies,” Thomas Paine

For our industry, we can multiply our strength by working together, and the Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association (PNA) hopes to foster this unity of purpose through our ongoing Publisher Roundtable series.

PNA Publisher Roundtables offer a great opportunity for news media leadership to come together and discuss the issues facing their organizations in a casual setting.  Each meeting offers attendees the opportunity to:

  • Network with other Pa. newspaper leaders
  • Discover new opportunities to be implemented at their own organization
  • Share their own successes
  • Discuss threats to the industry and how to overcome them

Each session runs from 1 to 1.5 hours and occurs outside of the normal workday.  Attendees will join the roundtable through Zoom.

Join us for our next session on August 11th.  Each roundtable is limited to 6 attendees.

PNA members can register at no cost by completing the form below.

Why should you attend?

“In these unprecedented times we tackle new challenges each and every day. These sessions have been not only a great way to brainstorm and create new revenue streams, but also a great way to create comradery and remind ourselves we are needed in our communities now more than ever.

Sharon A. Sorg, Publisher
CNHI Regional

“I enjoy the Publishers calls, I like to hear how everyone in the state is doing, what they are doing different and what sales ideas have worked for them during this difficult time. We are all in this together.”

Christie Gardner, Publisher
Ridgway Record | Daily Press | Kane Republican

“There are few things I find more helpful to me in leading a newspaper than talking to my peers at other newspapers. It has been surprising to me how many good ideas have come from a relatively small number of participants. It is also surprising that more newspaper publishers aren’t participating during times like these. It suggests they have figured it all out. So, please, participate and tell the rest of us!”
