The Times-Tribune in Scranton, Pa., has an opening for a features reporter who can find and tell interesting stories across multiple platforms.

We’re looking for a creative and energetic self-starter capable of uncovering interesting stories on a broad range of topics in Northeast Pennsylvania. As features reporter you will connect with the community to highlight aspects of life that make this region unique. The beat will include community news, people, arts, culture, tourism, events, lifestyles, food, trends and more.

The Times-Tribune is owned by Media News Group in a region two hours west of New York City and two hours north of Philadelphia. The newspaper has a strong focus on digital so the features reporter will need to understand the basics and importance of the Web in conveying information to our growing digital audience.
