PNA’s 28th Annual Media Lawyers Conference

The Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association will hold its 28th annual Media Lawyers Conference on Thursday, October 13, 2022, in Harrisburg. As in prior years, the conference will address legal issues affecting the media industry, including public access laws, defamation, invasion of privacy, technology and court access issues.

The PNA encourages and welcomes your suggestions and participation to help make this years conference as informative and interactive as possible. Please email Melissa Melewsky if you have suggestions about topics to include in this years conference or if you would like to present a case study to the group.

This program is co-sponsored with the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.  PBI is approved by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Continuing Legal Education Board as an accredited CLE provider. This Conference is expected to be approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for ­5 substantive CLE credits.

Refunds will be given for registrations canceled by October 5, 2022. After that date, only partial refunds are possible.  If you have any special dietary needs, please include a note detailing them.  If you have any questions, email foundation@pa-news.org.


If staying overnight, hotel rooms are available at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey. If you would like to reserve a room at the Sheraton, please phone 717-564-5511 and request the 360 Media Alliance 2022 group rate of $129 per night, plus taxes.   You can also reserve your room online through the 360 Media Alliance group page. This special rate is only guaranteed through September 21; you are encouraged to make your reservation early.
