Strengthening Local News Across Pennsylvania

The Keystone News Summit is an annual convening of journalists, newsroom leaders, researchers, educators, students, philanthropists, advocates and community partners committed to strengthening local news in Pennsylvania.

Following a successful inaugural Summit in Harrisburg, the 2026 Keystone News Summit will continue and expand this statewide conversation, bringing participants together to explore the evolving media landscape, sustainable business models, community engagement and policy solutions that support a stronger local news ecosystem.

Plans are underway for the 2026 Keystone News Summit, April 15–17 at Hershey Lodge in Hershey, Pa. Join us as we build on last year’s momentum through thoughtful dialogue, collaboration and shared learning.
