In an era of distrust, transparency backed by verifiable data is one of the strongest tools for public confidence. Data journalism is necessary as we shift from anecdotal reporting to evidence-based reporting. We’ll review the key skills for journalists for data acquisition, data cleaning & verification, and analysis techniques to investigate election integrity without amplifying misinformation.
