Since 1997, MABA has advocated for biosolids resource recovery on behalf of the wastewater profession that results in sustainable solutions. MABA’s partnership with PNA helps them further their mission to communicate the benefits of biosolids resources within the communities they serve.

MABA is proud to serve as a conduit between the biosolids and newsmedia sectors, to provide information and connection to better inform the communities they both serve. The partnership between MABA and the Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association Foundation provides direct support to the Foundation’s mission to provide training and resources to develop the next generation of readers and journalists.
Mary Baker, executive director at MABA, said working with PNA and PNAF helps their organization communicate clearly and effectively with their constituents.
“The collaboration between MABA and the Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association provides a platform to educate the public about the sustainable solutions that biosolids resource recovery offers,” she said.
“This partnership ensures that accurate and timely information reaches communities, fostering a greater understanding of the environmental and economic benefits of biosolids beneficial reuse.”
