The PNA Foundation is holding its annual Silent Auction on Thursday, Nov. 13, during the PNA 100th Anniversary Gala. All contributions and support will help the PNA Foundation continue its mission to benefit the sustainability of local news through philanthropy and fundraising, training and recognition of professional and student journalists. Bid on these generously donated items at the Nov. 13 event. If you are not able to attend the event, email your top bid on any of these items to the PNA Foundation by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11. Winning bidders will be announced during the Nov. 13 event.

The basket contains a bottle of Adams Co Rebel Red, 2 hand painted Gettysburg wine glasses, a deck of playing cards with a vintage map of Gettysburg Square on the back, a trio of local made jams, crackers, local applesauce, a Gettysburg candle, and two pairs of cute Lincoln socks. - Basket of goodies packed with a lot of symbolism – the raspberry for what the colonial newspaper in New York used to let the patriots know new info on the British. They’d print, “We now have raspberry brandy” to let George Washington’s spies know they had intel. “Things I’m Thankful For” since I’m happy print newspapers are still here, & of course, local Bedford, PA syrup.
