Congratulations to the 2019 PNA Foundation Advertising Contest Winners! The Calkins Family Best Use of Video Award winner can be viewed here.

The PNA Foundation Advertising Contest recognizes advertising departments across Pennsylvania that continue to produce outstanding printed and digital classified and display ads, campaigns, and special publications and efforts worthy of much recognition.

Judges consider the objective, strategy, and result as well as design and attractiveness for all ads.

The contest is open to Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association member organizations who are in good standing, as well as non-member Pennsylvania news organizations that meet the following criteria: at least six months of continuous publication, availability to the general public, regularly updated content, adherence to ethics and standards of journalism, and no promotion of special interests of groups, individuals or causes.

Be sure to read this Special Announcement about our 2019 contests!

Winners will be honored at the Ad Contest Awards Luncheon during the PNA Advertising Conference on Thursday, September 26, 2019, at the Graduate State College.  Plaques will be provided to all first-place winners in attendance at the awards luncheon.  Certificates suitable for framing will be provided to all second-place and honorable mention winners in attendance at the luncheon.

After the Conference, certificates will be mailed to winners not in attendance at no cost. You may purchase plaques for your certificates by completing the Plaque Order Form.

Questions? Contact the PNA Foundation or phone (717) 703-3003.

Helpful Tip

Save entries throughout the year! To avoid the frantic rush during next year’s contest period, we recommend that you save your potential entries in a special file on your computer, or create a MyScrapbooks page through the BetterBNC website. Then when contest time rolls around, you simply search that file for your best work!
