Mark your calendars and make plans to join us as we celebrate National Newspaper Week and America 250 in a uniquely Pennsylvania way at the 2026 Journalism Excellence Convention, Wednesday, Oct. 7, through Friday, Oct. 9, at The Central Hotel & Conference Center in Harrisburg.

One of the many highlights of the convention will be the Keystone Media Awards Luncheon, where we’ll recognize the winners of the 2026 Professional Keystone Media Awards. Be sure to plan for a full day—we’re putting the finishing touches on several can’t-miss educational sessions scheduled both before and after the luncheon, offering valuable insights, fresh ideas, and opportunities to connect with colleagues from across the state.

Cap off the day at the Evening of Excellence Reception and Dinner, where we’ll celebrate the very best of Pennsylvania journalism and recognize this year’s News Organization of the Year winners, welcome the newest inductees into the PNA Hall of Fame and present the PNA’s Lifetime Achievement Award, the Benjamin Franklin Award for Excellence, and the News Media Industry Executive of the Year award.
