More and more newspapers are being delivered to subscribers through the USPS. Converting to postal distribution can be challenging as can maintaining timely mail deliveries in your community. Learn best practices for working with your local post office, with insights from Bob Brown, of the USPS. Also hear from Holly Lubart of the News/Media Alliance, who will share a national perspective on postal reform, its effect on local mail and what your advocates in D.C. are doing to help.

Bob began his Postal Service career as a PSE Custodian in 2013. A few years later, he was promoted to Supervisor Maintenance Operations and later on to Manager Maintenance Operations Support. In 2020, he became the Supervisor Business Mail Entry at the Trenton Business Solution Center and the temporary Manager BME for the duration of the Postal Service’s nationwide restructuring efforts. Upon the completion of the restructuring in 2021, he was promoted to District Manager Business Mail Entry for the newly formed District of New Jersey.
Bob commented, “I have spent a lifetime looking for my place in the world, after retiring from the retail industry in which I spent most of my adult career. I spent a year learning to understand myself and my goals while hiking the Appalachian Trail south bound 2,200 miles from Katahdin Mt ME. to Spring Mt. GA. But it was as the Manager of BME that I found my home. I’m proud to represent the Postal Service and support the Business Mailing community.”
